  1. Some Game delevopers have provided new versions of drivers in order 
  2. to correct some of the old driver problems that do not work well 
  3. with OPTi's sound cards.  
  4.  
  5. This zip file is HMI's new version of drivers that an user could 
  6. simply overwrite the old version drivers if any problem has been
  7. encountered with OPTi's sound cards.
  8.  
  9. This zip file consists of two zip files
  10. opti.zip: HMI protected mode drivers, fix the games using HMI*.386
  11.           Simply replace the old one with these two new files
  12. hmireal.zip: HMI real mode drivers, fix the games using HMI*.drv
  13.              Simply replace the old one with these two new files
  14.  
  15. Upon completion of replacing the old HMI drivers with the new version.
  16. Please type SNDINIT.EXE at the DOS command prompt to re-initialize your
  17. sound card or simply reboot your computer.

  19. If problem still persist, try selecting the following modes instead:
  20. Sound Blaster, Sound Blaster Clone or Microsoft Sound System.
